She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Buerger and Clara Buerger; her husband George Hughes; and her children, John Hughes, Deborah Crawford and Steve Hughes.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Robbie Harris (Kristi), Jamey Knight (Melissa), Elias Knight, Nicole De Francisco (Alvaro), Chance Odom (Julie), Ashton Carter (Matt), Rachelle Waddle (Aubrey) and Madison Perdue (Nathan); her brothers, Franklin Buerger (Daphine) and Ronnie Buerger (Sara); and her daughter-in-law Shirley Hughes. She is also survived by 17 great grandchild and 2 great-great grandchildren.
