She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Kirchenwitz and Emma Kirchenwitz; her brothers, Elton Kirchenwitz and Edell Kirchenwitz; and her great grandchild Kelsey Dawn Bates.

She is survived by: her husband Floyd Melcer; her children, Louis Parker, Jr. (Cindy), Donna Tucker (Royce) and Cynthia England; her granddaughters, Amy Scott (Joshua), Jennifer Blake, Crystal Niersel (Jeff), Emily Bates (Kevin), April Lewis (Raymond) and Candice Kallus (James); and her great grandchildren, Megan, Taryn, Cheyenne (Kaiden), Rebecca, Kaleb, Kara, Karson and Dominik.
