She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Domingo Platero and Carmen Carballo; her husband Agapito Garza; her children, Salvador Platero Valle, Julio Platero, Armando Platero and Gloria Nava; her stepson William Alex Platero; and her siblings, Armondo Platero, Lindor Platero, Rena Platero and Maxine Platero. She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
