She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Matak and Annie Matak; her husband Lonnie Joe Mizell; her siblings, Liddie James, Lottie Elles, Wilsie Browning, Willie Matak and Wilbert Matak; and her grandson Ruben James Mizell.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Mizell, Lonnie Wayne Mizell (Janice), Rodney Dale Mizell (Cheryl) and Leslie Alan Mizell (Sandra); and her siblings, LaVonne Cooper, Alvin Matak and Pete Matak. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
