She is survived by: her sons, Rodney Strickland, Travis Strickland and Marlin Strickland; her siblings, Rex Whitmire, Ricky Whitmire, Royce Whitmire, Percy Whitmire, Lubbie Whitmire, Melvin Whitmire, Sr. and Louise Essery; and her grandchildren, Amanda Strickland, Bruce Strickland, Cody Strickland and Amber Adams. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
