It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sammy Boyd of Cleburne, Texas, born in Crosbyton, Texas, who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marion and Josie Mae Applegate Boyd; and his siblings, Johnny Granville Boyd, Margie Louise Wheatly, Ray Boyd, Doris Boyd, Vera Wingate and Jackie Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Boyd; his children, Jim Boyd and Linda Terry (Toby); his grandchildren, Riley, McKenna and Brennen Walker; and his sister Pat Gant. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
