It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin McCollum of Cleburne, Texas, who passed away on September 25, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett John McCollum and Bessie McCall Evarts McCollum; his wife Margie McCollum; and his siblings, E. J. McCollum, Jr. and Loreta Marshall.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie Wylie (Garey) of Cleburne and Murray; his daughter-in-law Margaret McCollum of Cleburne; his grandchildren, Missy Brown (Jeremy), Rachelle Barta (Michael), Monty McCollum (Katie), Melissa Rabinowitz (Jason) and Jason Wylie (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Mallory McWhirter, Colt Brown, Elizabeth Barta, Mitchell McCollum, MacKenzie McCollum, Maddison Rabinowitz, Molly Rabinowitz, Jacob Wylie and Caden Wylie; his great great grandchildren, Brinlee McWhirter and Sayde Hudson; and his niece Joyce Hatch.
