She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louis Preston and Mary Roberta Green Fowler; her husband Alvis Carmichael, Jr.; her nieces, Vicki Shumake and Holly McRuiz; her nephew David McCullers; and her sisters, Reba Brumfield and LaVerne McGill.
