He was predeceased by: his parents, Travis E. West and Una M. West (Liles); his brother Mark E. West; his grandmothers, Alma Osborne (West) and Sarah Parker (Cagle); and his aunts and uncles, Garland H. Bruce, Jessie Pearl Bruce (West), Jeanie Stephens (Parker) and Bill Stephens.

He is survived by: his wife Rachel West (Lomeli); his siblings, Susan T. West, Joy B. Collazzi (Ed) and Dennis R. Williams; and his nieces and nephews, Steven A. West (Elda), Dennis R. Williams, II (Victoria), Shane D. Williams (Joy), Brandon T. West, Sonya D. Williams, Summer D. Willliams, Danielle E. West and Lisa R. West. He is also survived by 8 great-nephews and 8 great-nieces; along with many cousins and 2nd cousins.
