She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Franklin and Allie Jane Waldie (Mills); her husband Joe Pinkerton; and her siblings, Willie Waldie and Clonese Polson.

She is survived by: her niece Renee Hargrove (Terry); her great-nephew Jeremy Hargrove (Cindi); her great-niece Brittany Vereen (Larry); and also, Makayla, Maddie, Emma and McKinzee.
