She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Frank and Earline Vivian Lynch Whiteside. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Charles E. Payne; her daughters, Mary Earline Turnage (Calvin Turnage), Kimberly Gail Hodges (Chad Hodges) and Charla Michelle Ledbetter (Todd Ledbetter); her grandchildren, Kassaundra Swain, Sam, Chassidy Rauer, Colby, Cheyenne Taylor, John, Allison Dunn, Anthony, Nathaniel Turnage, Anna Schwoyer, Kaleb, Jonathan Hodges, Kaci Turnage and Luke Duncan; her great grandchildren, Jace, Jaustin, John David, Kason, Fynlee, Kami, Callie, Anastasia, Harry, Tanner, River, Grayson, Silas and Lincoln; and her sisters, Ann Wilkerson and Vivian Prouty. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church-Cleburne (700 Woodard Ave, Cleburne, TX 76033). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at the Greenacres Memorial Park (3201 N Main St, Cleburne, TX 76033).
