It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Hay (Cleburne, Texas), who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John R. Hay to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hay and Pearl Hay (Ryan); his siblings, Oscar, Jr. Hay (Carmen), Lois Hilleran (Arnold) and Roxy Severance (Leon); his sister-in-law Dorothy Hay; his great grandchild Braxon Weidman; and his son-in-law William McFadden.

He is survived by: his wife Louise Hay (Morford); his brother Wesley Hay; his children, Dan Hay (Jan), Debbie Kirby (James), Terry Hay (Karen) and Kathy McFadden; his siblings-in-law, Boyd and Lorraine Parker; his grandchildren, Trisha Martinek (John), Eric Hay (Amanda), Traci Root (Sean), Ryan Hay (Allison), Jarod Hay (Erica), Brandie Weidman (Chris), Tanner Etheridge, Bryce Etheridge (Madelynn), Joshua Hay (Ashley) and Angela Burns (Joshua); and his stepgrandchildren, Julie McElroy (Dan), Tony Howerton (Kelli), Adam Kirby and Josh Kirby (Ashley). He is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
