With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joe Stanley of Cleburne, Texas, born in Tahoka, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Stanley and Ruth Stanley; his wife Jackie Stanley; and his siblings, R. C. Stanley, Horton Stanley, Jessie Gent, Orabelle Quattlebaum and Patsy Dixon.

He is survived by: his children, Kay Miracle (Johnny), Vicki Howard (Ricky), Gary Don Stanley (Shirley), Kathy Williams (Gary), Donna Stanley and Darla Squyres (Randy); his grandchildren, Amanda Montgomery, Misty Tucker, Brandy Embry, Catherine Dominguez, Andyssey Pollard, Alonnah Pollard, Kaitlyn Chapman, Cody Miracle, Ricky Joe Howard, Tim Howard, Billy Stanley, Christopher Stanley, Joe Don Stanley, Blume Chapman and Peyton Squyres; and his brother Jimmy Stanley. He is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, along with numerous other relatives.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home (512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rio Vista Cemetery.
