She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Eli and Gladys Nanney Nix; the father of her children Howard Voss; her husband Frank Peterson; and her great grandchild Avery Amaya Saraswat.
She is survived by: her daughters, Liz Gillin, Barbara Jean Renken (Virgil Gene Renken) and Mary Sue Ortiz (Yddo Ortiz); her grandchildren, Jennifer Sackerson, Matthew Gillin, Jonathan Gillin, Jason Renken, Melissa George, Kimberly Saraswat, Bryan Renken, Justin Woods and Ben Woods; and her sister Barbara Nell Wareham.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home (512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Keene Seventh-Day Adventist Church (114 N Fairview St, Keene, TX 76059). A burial was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at the Keene Memorial Park (301 Pioneer Dr, Cleburne, TX 76031).
