It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jay D. Peacock of Cleburne, Texas, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Jay D. Peacock to show support.

He was predeceased by: his father Jerald D. Peacock; his brother-in-law Dusty Wells; and his nephew Todd Sims. He is survived by: his mother Edith Louise Gay Peacock; his wife Konnie Elder Peacock; his children, Jeromy D. Peacock (Maggie) and Cheyenne Lee Spivey (John); his grandchildren, Joy, Grace, Jay D., Glory Peacock, Birdie and Nolan Spivey; and his siblings, Randal "Randy" (Leona Peacock), Gary (Coelene Peacock) and Cynthia "Cissy" Wells. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that memorial gifts be made to either the Fort Worth Retired Fire Fighter Association at 2245 FM 2048 Boyd, Texas 76023 or to the Fort Worth Fire Fighter Museum Fund at PO Box 10481 Fort Worth, Texas 76114.
