She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Mae and Henry Basye; her former husband Bobby Dan Applegate; her children, Sonja Applegate and Joe Dan Applegate; her granddaughter Lexi Osborne; and her siblings, Betty Basye and David Basye.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Cathey; her daughters, Robin Johnson and Kristi Applegate Wilson; her stepdaughters, Sheree Harmon and Debbie Totah; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Chalfant, Amy Godfrey (Jeff), Robert Barnes, Brandy Reed, Jodi Hawhee Bross, Luke Osborne, Jesse Lee, Regina Lee Duncan, Lauren Pethtel Keating and Austin Pethtel. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
