He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Denman and Loye Denman; and his brothers, Harold Floyd Denman and Darrell Wayne Denman. He is survived by: his son David Gene (Sandy) of Midlothian; his wife Jackie; his children, Jill Crook (Russell) of Cleburne, Don (Varina) of Burleson, Judy Edge (Mark) of Tyler and Dan (Missy) of The Colony; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Denman of Tyler and Elaine Denman of Topeka, Kansas.; and his grandsons, Alex, Austin Denman, Dene Denman, Ryan Roden, Timothy Edge and Luke Reeger. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
