He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dewey and Edna Earl Hammond (Graham); his siblings, Curtis Linn Hammond, Steven Gerald Hammond and Brenda Gail Boehl; his son Justin Allen Hammond; and his nephew Christopher Hammond.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Hammond of Cleburne, Texas; his children, Jesse Hammond of Cleburne, Jacob Hammond of Ennis, Texas, Makayla Hammond of Cleburne, Texas, Breann Hammond of Cleburne, Texas, Kayla O'Neal of Ball, Louisiana, Gary Hammond, Greer and Randy Hammond of Dry Prong, Louisiana; and his siblings, Billy Wayne Hammond of Madisonville, Texas and Kathy Ann Burgess of Blackshear, Georgia.
