She was predeceased by: her parents, Arbra Holloway and Bertha Mozelle Holloway (Pollard); her husband James "Brownie" Clay; her children, Patricia Evans and Michael Clay; her daughter-in-law Phala Clay; and her sisters, Bertha Hunter, Gladys Davenport, Vera Ward and Lorene Scott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melba Clay and Sharell Clay; her grandchildren, Causha Jones, Tyrone Nunn and Cynthia Clay-Hawkins; her stepchildren, Ricky Warren and Reverend Johnnie Warren (Gloria); her great grandchildren, Tyrin Jones, Kavyon Nunn, Paisley Nunn, Tremayne Fuller and Aubryell Clay-Hawkins; and her great great grandchild Paxton Fuller. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
