She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim J. Barnes and Nell Nora Barnes (Davis); her husband Noble Bobby "Bob" Tyer; her son Jimmy Tyer; and her sister Nora Ratliff.
She is survived by: her daughter Janis Collins; her daughter-in-law Barbara Tyer; and her grandchildren, Robert Tyer, Tiffany Salinas, Cristin Collins, Corrin Walker and Chance Collins. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
