He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Dawkins and Evelyn Dawkins (Scott); his son Robert Myers; and his siblings, Virginia Ferguson and Larry M. Dawkins.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Ann Miller; his wife Mary A. Dawkins; his children, Michelle Dawkins, Michael Dawkins, Teresa Everett, Julie Lewis and Jeanne James; and his siblings, Michael Dawkins (Nikkie) and Gloria Hyden. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
