He is survived by: his children, Naomi Allen (Victor) of Kansas City, Missouri, Bernard Brown of Keene and Corey Spencer of Grand Prairie; his sisters, Brenda Prather of Hurst and Mary of Cleburne; his aunt Lora Scott of Dallas; and his uncle Willie Patterson of Terrell. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
