We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2023, at the age of 77, Charles Gary Atkins of Cleburne, Texas, born in Hillsboro, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bradford Atkins and Priscilla Honeycutt Atkins. He is survived by: his wife Madelyn Atkins of Cleburne; his children, Janet Baggett (Mike) of Dublin, Georgia, Bonnie Glass (Sid) of Macon, Georgia, Charles Gary Atkins, Jr. (Christy) of Forsyth, Georgia and Jennifer Atkins of Euless; and his brothers, Don Atkins (Regina) of Austin and Kenneth Atkins (Cheryl) of Grapeland. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Rather than flowers, the family requests any memorial contributions be given to Camp Fire Tesuya Council, 815 N. Main Street, Cleburne, Texas 76033 in loving memory of Gary Atkins.
