He is survived by: his daughters, Holly Curlee (Kent) and Michelle McKinney; his stepsons, Tod Shelton (Chanda) and Tad Shelton; his daughter-in-law April McKinney; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Askins (Zach), Slade Moore, Macy McKinney, Peydon Shelton, Paxton Shelton and Parker Shelton; his great grandchild Zade Askins; and his sister Thelma Jo Johnson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
