She was predeceased by: her parents, William Komas Kitchen and Mary Jane Blankenship Kitchen; and her husband Horace Waide Royal, Sr.. She is survived by: her sister Janie Marie Harper; her children, Collene Myers, Kay Spurlin, Waide Royal, Henrietta Cavanaugh and Judy Billingsley; and her adoptive daughter Judy (Sandra Parrish). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, and 16 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home (118 W Oaklawn Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the First Baptist Church-Pleasanton (400 N Reed St, Pleasanton, TX 78064). A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Pleasanton City Cemetery.
