He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hopple and Mae Hopple. He is survived by: his wife Madge Hopple; his sons, Duane Hopple (Keri) and Christopher Hopple (Laurie); and his grandson Seth Hopple.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron's name to the Wounded Warrior Project or to Wreaths Across America Houston.
