She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Maude Parker and Roy Allen Ramsay; her children, Gretchen Schulz (Stephen), Philip Reid and David Reid (Karen Thomas); her grandchildren, Shelby Schulz (Ben Rowe), Sean Schulz (Avery) and Jake Reid; her niece Joan Arrington Miers (family: Jeffrey Miers); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sloan, Brooke, Blake, Stacy Miers and Jamie Smith Luff (Martin); her husband Richard Reid; her sister Ruth Ramsay Arrington; her niece Joyce Arrington Smith; and also, Turner Rider and James.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions to Edith's memory may be directed to The Memorial Fund at Clear Lake Presbyterian Church, 1511 El Dorado Blvd, Houston, TX 77062.
