It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Robert Duke of Clayton, Texas, who passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bernard and Myrtle Carter Duke; his parents-in-law, Raybun and Mary Ann Holland; his grandson David Michael Duke; and his brothers-in-law, John Saunders and Thomas Garrett.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Holland of Clayton; his sons, John Duke (Lydia) of Brandon and Robert Duke (Pam) of Jacksonville, Texas.; his grandchildren, John Christopher Duke (Marguerite), Hannah Duke and Hunter Duke; his great grandchildren, John William Duke II, Anna Duke, Miriam Duke and Holland Duke; his brother J. R. Duke (Debra); and his sister-in-law Rebecca Garrett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
