She was predeceased by: her parents, John James and Norma James; her husband Billy Thomas Hill; and her siblings, Jimmy James and Charlotte Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie Hill, Karen Hill Netzel and Sandra Hill Fisher (Chris); her stepdaughter Glena Collins; her sister-in-law Madeline Hill; her grandchildren, Leslie Waddell, Chris Netzel, Lauren Kutch (Gabriel, Emily Fisher) and Carly Fisher; and her great grandchildren, Casey, Cayden, Jaxon, Hudson and Brooklyn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joyce's honor to the First Baptist Church Pearland Debt Retirement at 3005 Pearland Parkway, Pearland, Texas 77581.
