She was predeceased by: her husband John Ruel Porter; and her siblings, Jack Terrell and Opal Terrell Austin. She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Porter Gordon of Tyler; her son-in-law Joseph Fisher Gordon of Tyler; her grandchildren, Ben Gordon of Dallas and Holly Gordon Briggs; her son-in-law Matthew Briggs of Denver; her great grandchildren, Grace Gordon, Finley Gordon, Fisher Gordon and Luke Briggs; her niece Jane Austin Chapman (Bob Chapman); and her nephew Joe Terrell (Harriett).
