He was predeceased by: his parents, Solomon Nichols and Anna Nichols; his siblings, Donna Nichols and Wayne Nichols; and his great grandchild Jeff Nichols.
He is survived by: his children, David Nichols (Debbie Nichols), Donnie Nichols (Angie Nichols) and Anna Presley (Nichols); his wife Sue Nichols of Clarksville, Texas; his son-in-law Jimmy Presley of Manchester, Texas; his sister Detta; and his brother-in-law Clark Rich of Virginia. He is also survived by numerous grandkids, great-grandkids, other relatives and friends.
