She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Murphy of Boxelder and Velma Pauline Howard of Avery, Texas.; her husband Choyce Earl Lum of Boxelder; and her siblings, Mary McDuffie of Texarkana, Margie Lynch of New Boston and Bill Murphy of Avery, Texas..
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Laraye Lum; her son-in-law Stephen Whiteman; her grandchildren, Christopher Whiteman, Rebecca Whiteman and Melinda Whiteman; her daughter-in-law Sarah Whiteman; her brother Don Murphy of Lydia; and her sister-in-law Myrna Murphy of Avery. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
