He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Doerrer and Beatrice Heller Doerrer; and his sister Mary Ann Doerrer. He is survived by: his wife Jama Doerrer; his stepson Mikel Connelly; his sisters, Joanne Nelson and Theresa Badalich (Terry); his brothers-in-law, Ken Reinecke and Greg Badalich; his nephews, Daniel Badalich (Maurissa) and Andrew Badalich; and his niece Kari Leasure (Alan).
