He is survived by: his wife Joan Copelin of Clarendon; his child Wayne Copelin, Jr.; his wife Rhonda; his siblings, Joann Forren, Susan Snooks and Sandra Copelin; and also, Joanne Barton (Jack), Ernest Copelin (Tangela), Tina Ferris (Scotty), Laura Luttrell (Mark) and Erin Osburn (Blake). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be sent to Rowe Cemetery Association in Hedley, Texas.
