It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Van Harlan Schooler (Clarendon, Texas), who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Schooler and Della Mathews Schooler; and his brothers, Don Joel (Betty) and Jamie Schooler. He is survived by: his wife Fredda Bourland; his children, Matt of Portland, IN and Sallye (Karst Tijmes) of Levelland; his grandson Van Jeter (Bethany Mitchell); his sisters-in-law, Jerri Schooler of San Angelo, Lynn (David White) of College Station and Beth (Steve Holtz) of San Angelo; and also Dan Jeter (family: Michael, Stetson, Sterling, Brooklyn Steele, Nick Steel) of Levelland.
Over the years, he overcame 30 years of heart trouble, 5 heart attacks, 12 stents, 6 months with a colostomy bag, to end with complications from Covid.
