Wanda Joyce Boyd Obituary

Another angel has received her wings. Wanda Joyce Steddum Boyd passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, at the age of 88.

She was born August 17, 1936 to Juanita and Nepolean (Polie) Steddum in Mount Calm, Texas. She grew up and went to school in Olden. She married Gaston Boyd May 23, 1952. They moved to Cisco and lived there her entire life. She helped her husband operate Boyd Pump Truck service for many years. Gaston and Wanda were both involved as 4H leaders for Eastland County while raising their kids. Her most important job was that of a homemaker and mother.

Wanda is survived by her children Kathy Seider and husband Bobby of Cisco, Buster Boyd of Cisco, Barbara Adams of Eastland and Leo Boyd of Cisco; brother Clayton Steddum and wife Marie of Weatherford; grandchildren Shelly Agnew, Michael Seider and wife Lindsey, Angie Shaw and Chris, Charles Stevens, Mickey Anauo and wife Meagan, Tanee Wharton and husband Justin, Dirk Boyd, Bryan Boyd, Michea Duncan and fiance' Matt Hicks and Christian Boyd; great-grandchildren Ivey Young and husband Ryan, Hunter Seider, Hayden Seider, Noah Flowers, Jonah Flowers, Teagan Wharton, Madden Wharton, Palen Wharton, Carleigh Anauo, Destiny Anauo, Whitney Anauo, Rileigh Anauo, Melody Anauo, Lexi Boyd, Zoe Boyd, Sawyer Boyd, Waylon Boyd, Jacelyn Woodard, Hinley Duncan, Hyatt Duncan, Brazos Hicks and Ivyanne Boyd; great great-grandchildren Arabella Alldredge, Camryn Alldredge and Beckett Young.

She was preceded in death by husband Gaston Boyd Sr., mother Juanita Steddum, father Nepolean (Polie) Steddum, brother Harrell Steddum, sister Patsy Williamson , Dub Williamson and daughter-in-law Gloria Boyd.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Oakwood Cemetery, 200 Front Street in Cisco.
