Randy Joe Johnson Obituary
Randy Joe Johnson of Cisco left this life October 29, 2023, at the age of 67.
Randy was born May 2, 1956 in Gorman, Texas to Bobby Joe and Murl Elizabeth (Petree) Johnson. He was a graduate of the Cisco High School Class of 1974, and attended Cisco Junior College. He married Gwyneth Rebecca Odom on October 28, 1977 at Mountain Top Church. They were married 44 years when she preceded him in death in December 2021. Randy worked for the City of Cisco for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe Johnson, his wife Gwyneth, and his brother, Bobby Dean Johnson.
Survivors include his children, Christopher Johnson of Cisco and Jennifer Tucker of Early; grandchildren Jarrod Johnson of Cisco and Trevor and Brody Boyd of Early; his mother, Murl Johnson of Cisco, brother Ronnie Johnson and wife Charlotte Johnson of Cisco, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews etc.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Kimbrough-Jacobs Funeral Home. Services will be 1:30 PM Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Mountain Top Church in Cisco with Stephen Forester officiating. Burial will follow the service at Longbranch cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Butch Petree, Jonathan Petree, Randy Boles, Paul Flores, David Petree, Darwin Archer, Cody Petree and Michael Petree. Honorary pallbearers are Harrell Hallmark, Van Reynolds, Gary Cotton, Randall Parsley, Joel Prickett, Shane Johnson and Dan Wilks.
