It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Ziehr of Cisco, Texas, born in Albany, Texas, who passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, G. C. Stroebel and Lydia Wende Stroebel; her sister Alice Ruth Stroebel; her stepmother Eva Richardson Stroebel; her siblings-in-law, Frank Ziehr, Willie Mae Holt Ziehr, Elton Ziehr and Kathleen Weiser; and also, Norman Weiser and Alvin Krause.
She is survived by: her husband Joe D. Ziehr; her son Kevin Ziehr of Cisco; and her siblings-in-law, Elaine Krause of Copperas Cove and Roland Ziehr (Jean) of Clyde. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Cemetery Association, the Cisco ISD Ray Saunders Scholarship Fund, or the Texas Wendish Heritage Society College/Trade School Scholarship Fund.
