He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ray, Clara Meyer, Francis and Madge VanSkike; his parents, Jess R. Meyer and C. Joan Meyer (VanSkike); his brother Ray Meyer; his brother-in-law Vaughn Scarborough; and also Ron Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Mae of Cisco, Texas; his sister Carolyn M. Scarborough of St. Paul, Nebraska; his sisters-in-law, Colleen Brown (Meyer) of O'Fallon, Missouri and Lisa; his nephew Kevin (Jennifer Meyer); and his aunts, Janet Armold and Lila VanSkike. He is also survived by three nieces.
