It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurie Jay Smothers of Cisco, Texas, born in Hobbs, New Mexico, who passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robbie Smothers; her son Dennis Carl Hutt, Jr. (Skutter); her parents, Patsy Stafford and Kemp Stafford; her brother Ray Lynn Wright; and her great grandchild Karlton Briley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Samantha Garcia (Danny) of Cisco and Monnie Soderberg (Shawn) of Moorhead, MN; and her grandchildren, Meagan Anders (Justin) of Tuscola, TX, Bree, Matalyn Kwitek (Brian) of Alexandria, MN, Kaitlyn Soderberg Moorhead, Tanner Garcia Bulverde (Ashley) and Kody Soderberg of Fargo, ND.. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
