It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John McCanlies of Cisco, Texas, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Bob and Flora McCanlies (Bacon); and his sons, Johnny Lynn McCanlies and Jeffrey Hale McCanlies. He is survived by: his wife Linda Jeanette Midkiff of Cisco; his son Jimmy McCanlies (Nancy) of Katy, TX; his daughter-in-law Kelley McCanlies of Lubbock; his grandchildren, Jaxon McCanlies, Haleigh McCanlies, Jacob McCanlies (Brittany), Rick McCanlies (Melissa), Cora McCanlies and Chase McCanlies; and his siblings, Julie White of Kruegerville, TX and Pat McCanlies (Betty) of Kaplin, LA..
