He was predeceased by: his parents, James McNeely and Elsie Ruth Pickett (Gunn); and his sister Nita Jean Pickett. He is survived by: his wife Lygia of Cisco; his sons, Jimmy Ray Pickett Jr. (Melanie) of Cisco and Christopher Lee Pickett (Sulema) of Odessa; his sister Sharon Elaine Pickett of Brady; and his grandchildren, Jimmy Ray Pickett III and Angel Solis.
