Ike loved being involved in community activities, and helping his wife, Emma with Cisco Civic League, Christmas in May Projects, and the Hilton Foundation. He enjoyed being a member of the Rotary Club, Lions Club, and Shriners International. Ike was a dedicated member of Masonic Lodge #556 for over 61 years and was a 32nd degree Mason. During that time, he held many offices and became a Past Master. He also received the Masonic Texas Golden Trowel Award, which is rarely given for dedication to service and giving to the community.
