He is survived by: his wife Janice Paulette Dempsey; his sister Faye Dempsey Saunders; his children, Herman Brack Dempsey III and Catherine Michelle Dempsey Mclean; his grandchildren, Margaret Allison Mclean, Janice Nicole Mclean, Conlin Mark Dempsey and Eden Rose Dempsey; his great grandchild Kimri Blake Michelle Mclean; and his friends, Beverly and Dana Mehaffey. He is also survived by several nieces, great nieces.
