He is survived by: his mother Charlene Joy Long; his brother Ricky Schaefer; his sons, Sean (Erin), Matt (Jasilyn Schaefer) and David (Amanda Schaefer); and his grandchildren, Christian Schaefer (Lara), Kaitlyn Schaefer, Ryker Schaefer, Liesel Schaefer, Rhett Schaefer, Rayden Schaefer, Quincy Schaefer and Graham Schaefer.
