He is survived by: his son Dale Ashton; his daughter-in-law Natalie Harris of Cisco; his grandchildren, Caylee and Canon Harris of Cisco; and his siblings, Pat "Tishie" Walker of Abilene, Clifford "Shorty" Harris of Lubbock and Barbara "Bonnie" Damm of Sweetwater. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and very close friends.
