He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin Sorrells and Ola Loyd; his brothers, George Franklin, James Harold and William Boyd; and his wife Sophie Marie Lightfoot.
He is survived by: his children, Felicia Marie Sorrells, Steven Jack Sorrells (Felicia) and Felica Marie Self (Phillip); his grandchildren, Jeremy (Emily), Leann (Jerry), Stony and Cheyenne; and his great grandchildren, Evelynn, Lilly, Lyla, Sebastian and Elias. He is also survived by four nieces.
