He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis A. Kusey, Jr. and Victory Lorraine Cushman Kusey; and his brother Louis A. Kusey, III. He is survived by: his wife Luz Angelica Lopez Kusey; his children, Lauren Kusey Marlowe (Colin) of Jersey City and Alexander Louis Kusey of Cibolo; his grandsons, Ethan and Jameson Marlowe; his siblings, Doug Kusey (Debbie) of Austin, Vicky Lu Datz (Joseph) of Port Townsend, WA and Mark Kusey (Monica Savino) of San Antonio; his nieces and nephews, Melody Datz Hansen (Justin), Crystal Kusey Wester (Mark), Jonathan Kusey, Christin Datz (Clinton Stellfox), Diane Datz, Kathleen Kusey, Ellen Kusey Penna (Nathan), Joseph Kusey (Katelyn) and Rosemary Datz (Shane Foster); and his son Cushman.
In the final months of Bobby's life he suffered a great deal to recover from COVID-19.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Carver Development Board in the memory of Robert Cushman Kusey.
