She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jake" William Lenze and Betty Joyce Bonin Lenze; and her sisters, Kathy Ann Shirey and Karen Mae Bagley. She is survived by: her husband James Paul "Buzz" McBride; her daughters, Kimberly Ha (Jin Ha), Jennifer Sullivan (Jeffrey Sullivan) and Joanna Ruth (Nicholas Ruth); and her grandchildren, Shawn, Kaylee, Jacob, Jayden, Brooklyn, Alexis, Lily and Cooper.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Kathryn's honor to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
