George Nichols Ricks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Nichols Ricks of Cibolo, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth A. Ricks and Sam Beall Ricks, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his son Michael of Austin; his brothers, Sam Beall Ricks II (Sharon) of Richardson, TX and Tobe E. Ricks of Kenedy, TX.; and his pets, Buster and Callie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, in-laws.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private service will be held at Schertz UMC, with a celebration of life memorial at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, George requested that donations be made to Schertz UMC, Building Fund, 3460 Roy Richard Dr., Schertz, TX 78154.
